Lecture Series: Active Mobility - Cycling and Walking in the City

The lecture series looks at (sub-)urban cycling from a multitude of viewpoints: The importance for a transport system of a city; planning of walking, bicycle traffic and design of riding and parking infrastructure; the history of cycling and bicycles; medical implications & safety; cultural importance and the state in society.


Sustainability Challenge

The "Sustainability Challenge" is an interdisciplinary and inter-university lecture series on the topic of "Sustainable Development".  As interface between economy, ecology and social aspects Sustainability Challenge supports network thinking and promotes decision makers of the future to participate in a worth living future for the community.
